Screendance Festival !

Burden Halved screens at Screendance Festival in Stockholm, Sweden!

ScreenDance Festival presents the festival at Dansmuseet, the world’s first museum of dance and movement, situated in the heart of Stockholm (Drottninggatan 17) where many dance enthusiasts have had the chance to visit the museum’s beautiful exhibitions as well as the festival’s screenings.

ScreenDance festival presents a wide range of outstanding dance films as well as parallell activities like school projects, professional workshops, screenings, panels and talks during the year.

Light Moves Festival of Screendance - Ireland

One of the greatest benefits to capturing my choreography on film is that it has allowed me to connect with people all over the world who share my passion for dance…to say the feeling is incredible is an understatement!

So excited to be included in the lineup for Light Moves Festival of Screendance. Light Moves is THE international festival for dance in Ireland. My short, The Yellow Room, will be screening in the Ballet Programme on November 10th.

Exclusively focused on screen dance films, their Screendance Symposiums offer workshops and panels specifically geared towards filmmakers who shoot dance; addressing technology, interaction, and more. They also have a virtual reality workshop and a Screendance lab for students.

Light Moves Festival of Screendance is Ireland’s international festival of dance on film. The festival is a response to the vibrant and expanding field of dance film / screendance in Ireland and internationally.
